BOYCOTT NEW YORK CITY CHALLENGE

For the last several years, the world has been observing how desperate the Democrats and RINOs (Republican In Name Only) have been to prevent former President Trump from running for President again.
They have gone to every extreme from trying to claim that there was no ELECTION FRAUD during the 2020 election, despite irrefutable evidence, to proclaim that the JANUARY 6 SAVE AMERICA RALLY was an "incitement of insurrection", which the former President was acquitted of at the conclusion of the IMPEACHMENT TRIAL on February 13, 2021, and more.

Most recently, the Democrats managed to have a purely politically motivated prosecution of the former President claiming that he is guilty of fraudulent business practices, even though his companies never missed a single loan payment and no one claimed to be a victim.
After the former President was fined over a third of a BILLION dollars after that absurd ruling, "Truckers For Trump" and many others throughout the United States have vowed to boycott New York City.

The author is a former Owner/Operator Semi-Truck Driver who hauled everything imaginable from Light Bulbs to Artillery Shells throughout the Continental United States.
The average load was approximately 17,000 pounds but loads of 40,000 pounds were also common.
Most loads consisted of a single pickup and a single delivery but loads with up to 19 deliveries were transported as well.

I fully support Owner/Operator and Independent truckers who are free to NOT accept any loads going TO or FROM New York City.

VIRTUAL GRIDLOCK

WARNING: DO NOT EMPLOY!

NOTE:

The Virtual Gridlock described below should NOT be utilized for any peaceful protest or for any other reason so ambulances and other emergency vehicles can immediately travel to their destination as soon as possible without restriction.
Instead, Owner/Operator and Independent truckers are free to simply NOT accept any loads going TO or FROM New York City.

With proper management and scheduling, it may be possible to virtually cut off a city from deliveries and all other business by simply having many semi trucks roam the streets to cause a virtual gridlock each day during business hours.
The gridlock can continue every day indefinitely by having truckers, who after delivering their load to a nearby city, relieve the truckers currently participating in the gridlock so they can pick up their load that is ready to be picked up.
For example, instead of waiting at a Truck Stop to pick up their load, the truckers simply participate in the gridlock till their load is ready for pick up.
The truckers will only be roaming city streets and not interstate highways.
Therefore, the interstates should not be experiencing gridlock and the truckers should be able to withdraw from the gridlock within an hour or so via the nearest interstate entrance ramp to pick up their load that will NOT be from that city.
Anyone, including 4 wheelers, recreational vehicles, and bikers may participate in the gridlock any time they like and for as long as they like.

While participating in the gridlock, the fuel consumption and wear and tear on the trucks will be a minimum because the trucks will almost always be empty while waiting for a load.
During the gridlock, there will be very little traffic movement and the trucks will mostly be idling or not running at all.
Even if not participating in the gridlock, and just waiting for a load, trucks idle much of the time to run the air conditioner during hot weather and to run the heater during cold weather.
Waiting for load can sometimes take several days.
There will be lots of conversation over the Citizens Band (CB) radio and there will be no boredom.
All peaceful participants are free to mount signs and flags on their vehicles to convey information about any subject of their choice.

As confirmed in Washington D.C. during the "One Man March" (not to be confused with the "Million Man March"), it is perfectly legal for semi trucks and other vehicles to continuously roam city streets as a means to peacefully protest.
Note too that Protest Permits are not required because all participants are in their own vehicle and independent of all others.
If anyone claims that the participants are an organized group, the participants may simply remove the signs and flags to be completely anonymous and appear as any other driver in the city.
